Functional Dry Needling

Don’t settle for basic dry needling when your body deserves expert care.

Functional Dry Needling is Jamie’s primary specialty and one of the main things that sets MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness apart. Jamie is a Licensed Physical Therapist with over 20 years of experience and a Certified Functional Dry Needling® Specialist with over 10 years and thousands of hours of hands-on dry needling experience.

While dry needling has become much more common, not all dry needling is the same. Many providers now offer it, but the results can vary greatly depending on the provider’s training, experience, technique, precision, and clinical reasoning. Effective dry needling requires far more than simply placing a few needles. It requires a deep understanding of anatomy, trigger points, referral patterns, the nervous system, movement dysfunction, and how to choose the right technique for the right person at the right time.

Jamie’s approach is thorough, intentional, and highly individualized. Treatment may include skilled trigger point dry needling to create localized twitch responses, manual trigger point release, electrical stimulation when appropriate, and hands-on assessment to determine what your body truly needs.

At MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness, Functional Dry Needling is never a quick add-on or a “one or two needles and done” treatment. It is advanced, one-on-one care designed to help address pain, muscle tightness, headaches, TMJ, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, hip pain, sports injuries, mobility limitations, and chronic or recurring symptoms.

If you are going to try dry needling, your body deserves someone with the experience, training, and clinical skill to do it well.

Manual Therapy

Expert hands-on care, not generic bodywork.

Manual Therapy at MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness is skilled, Physical Therapist–guided hands-on care designed to help your body move and feel better. Treatment may include soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilization, passive or assisted stretching, and movement-based techniques to reduce pain, restore mobility, and support lasting results.

This is not a generic massage or one-size-fits-all bodywork session. Jamie uses over 20 years of Physical Therapy experience, anatomy, biomechanics, movement assessment, and your specific limitations to guide treatment with intention and precision.

Each session is integrated into your overall plan of care so hands-on treatment supports better movement, better function, and longer-lasting results.

Concierge Physical Therapy That Gets Results

Better use of your time. Targeted care. Meaningful results.

At MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness, your care is not dictated by insurance limits, rushed appointments, or generic exercise sheets. This is not a busy clinic where you are passed around, left alone, or expected to come multiple times a week just to make progress. Each session is private, one-on-one, and built around what your body actually needs that day.

Jamie combines over 20 years of Physical Therapy experience with skilled assessment, hands-on treatment, Functional Dry Needling, manual therapy, gait and movement analysis, KT taping, targeted movement strategies, and exercise education to help reduce pain, improve mobility, address the root cause, and support lasting results.

Because each visit is thorough, focused, and highly individualized, care is designed to be efficient and effective — helping you make meaningful progress without unnecessary appointments or cookie-cutter treatment plans.

This is individualized care designed to help you move better, feel better, and get back to the activities you love — with a better understanding of what your body needs and how to keep it moving better between sessions.

Myofascial Decompression / Cupping Therapy

More than traditional cupping — movement-based fascial decompression for better mobility, tissue glide, and function.

Myofascial Decompression is a specialized form of cupping therapy designed to address the connective tissue system, tissue mobility, movement restrictions, and areas of pain or tension. Unlike traditional static cupping, where cups are placed and left in one position, Myofascial Decompression often combines gentle suction with active movement, guided mobility, stretching, or functional movement patterns.

The goal is to gently lift and decompress the skin, fascia, and underlying soft tissues to help improve tissue glide, local circulation, range of motion, and overall movement quality. This can be especially helpful when restrictions in the fascia and connective tissues are contributing to stiffness, discomfort, poor mobility, or movement impairments.

At MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness, Myofascial Decompression is used as part of a thoughtful, individualized treatment plan. It may be combined with manual therapy, Functional Dry Needling, corrective movement, or mobility work to help reduce pain, improve flexibility, restore tissue mobility, and support more comfortable, efficient movement.

Sports Rehab & Gait Analysis

Get back to training without guessing what your body needs.

When you’re dealing with pain, injury, or recurring flare-ups, random exercises from social media can only take you so far. Your body may need something very different than a generic “fix this pain” routine.

At MyoPoint Therapy & Wellness, Sports Rehab and Gait Analysis are designed to help active people understand what is actually contributing to their pain or movement limitations. Treatment may include strength and mobility assessment, walking or running gait analysis, movement correction, injury prevention strategies, and return-to-activity planning.

The goal is to help you stop guessing, address the root cause, and return safely to workouts, running, sports, group fitness, and the activities you love.
