What makes Jamie a Functional Dry Needling® Specialist?

You deserve the best care and attention.

Not all dry needling training is the same — and not everyone who offers dry needling has the same level of training, experience, or credentialing. Many providers may say they “specialize” in dry needling simply because they offer it as part of treatment. Jamie’s Functional Dry Needling® Specialist (FDNS) credential is different. It is a formal advanced credential that reflects additional education, coursework, hands-on training, advanced clinical application, and higher-level decision-making beyond introductory dry needling coursework.

Through Evidence in Motion and KinetaCore’s Functional Dry Needling® program, Jamie completed advanced training to deepen her understanding of anatomy, safety, technique, clinical reasoning, and how dry needling fits into a comprehensive physical therapy plan. The Functional Dry Needling® Specialist (FDNS) credential recognizes advanced competency in using dry needling with precision and purpose — not simply as a stand-alone technique, but as part of a thoughtful, individualized treatment approach.

For patients, this means you are working one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist who has invested extensively in understanding not just how to perform dry needling, but when it is appropriate, what tissues may be contributing to the problem, and how to combine it with hands-on treatment, corrective exercise, and movement strategies for better long-term results.

Jamie also brings more than 20 years of physical therapy experience and over a decade of dry needling experience to each session, allowing her to tailor treatment to each person’s pain, mobility limitations, muscle dysfunction, and movement patterns.

The result is a more skilled, intentional, and comprehensive approach designed to help you move better, feel better, recover more confidently, and return to the activities you love.
